Job Description
Due to an increase in workload our client, an internationally recognised organisation, are seeking an Engineer to strengthen their Geotechnical division.
Candidates will be a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer with experience in a consultancy environment. Experienced in geotechnical design, embankment design and associated civil design elements, feasibility studies, with some site experience, candidates will likely be working towards Chartered status (encouraged). Knowledge of the mining industry (tailings dam design) an advantage.
With a degree in Civil Engineering and preferably a higher degree in Geotechnics, the successful candidate will be responsible for a small team of engineering staff and must be willing to travel to sites within the UK and overseas. Good oral and written English are essential.
