Epos Support Coordinator - Whyteleafe - Surrey

We are looking for an IT coordinator to join our highly successful and dynamic clients.
Duties to include:
* Assessing business requirements and relaying solutions through EPOS and related reporting
* Developing the linking of point of sale to all aspects of management reporting tolls within EPOS
* To use the company's Retail Management Information System (RMIS) to manage, access and manipulate data as required and to provide consistency between stores and head office
* To us RMIS to run reports as required
* To provide service levels to stores and head office departments and to develop methodologies to assist these departments
* Coordinate implementation of systems into new stores and upgrade existing ones, this includes licence control and the coordination of third party partners
* Ensure all queries from shops and HO are attended to in the absence of the EPOS Manager
* To provide 80% EPOS support and 20% desktop support (this includes 2nd line support)
Candidate Requirements
* Knowledge of EPOS, RMS, Crystal Reports, SQL Server 2000/2005 Management Studio, Cube absolutely essential.
* Knowledge of till networking in a stores/head office environment
* At least 5 passes at O Level/GCSE's (or equivalent)
Experience Required
* Background in retail, EPOS and RMS system with working knowledge of SQL Server App's is absolutely essential
Technical Skills
*Windows XP, Server 2000/2005
* DOS
* BAsic LAN
* EFTPOS
* Microsoft Applications - especially EXCEL
* Basic understanding of SQL and Crystal Reports
* Understanding of database relationships
